However, I’ve always been fascinated by the phenomenon that allows beginners to gain size so quickly.
This is the “noob gains” phase where guys can build muscle rapidly.
Without getting too science-y, here’s what I mean when I say rapid muscle:
Rapid Muscle is the increased rate of muscle-building that occurs in the first 6-24 months of a beginner’s training career (aka the noob gains phase) that creates the fastest, most dramatic body transformation.
It’s like going away for summer vacation and coming back looking like you lift.
And I know that a lot of guys actually crave these sorts of results in a limited time window.
Most experts in the fitness industry agree that there’s no better time to be lifting than when you’re a beginner.
But this opportunity is often wasted with bad or misleading bodybuilding strategies.
There are countless websites and YouTube channels that share the personal training and diet plans from popular influencers and icons.
The problem is most plans followed by big names in the fitness industry are not best for beginners.
These setups actually slow progress down.
But when you focus less on complicated strategies and more on the basics, magical things begin to happen.
I was a 2000’s kid.
Before the rise of fitness influencers, superhero movies were coming into the mainstream and complicated 7-day workout plans were flooding the fitness industry when actors “revealed” the routines they used to get in movie star shape.
A lot of fitness misinformation came out of this, and everyone began to lose confidence in their ability to improve their bodies.
Fortunately, beginners can still see fast transformations if they abandon these complicated strategies and focus on a few simple things instead.
