Getting lean has various benefits such as a decreased risk of cardiovascular disease, and if we’re being honest, the likes on “the Gram” does help.
Not all of us want to spend hours in the gym, however, and simply want to train at home.
Joel Freeman says he has the perfect program to get you lean. Let’s see what’s what.

Joel’s Exclusives Workouts by Beachbody Overview
Once you open the webpage to the “plan”, you’ll soon notice that this is actually not a plan, but rather just a collection of workouts.
- Fitness level: Intermediate
- Duration: However long you need
- Workouts per week: 3 Workouts per week
- Average workout duration: 20 – 40 minutes
- Equipment needed: Full gym/Minimal equipment
- Goal: Build muscle and Gain strength
There is also no guide as to how you should structure these, so, left to your devices you could theoretically do them all? And for a program that claims to help you lose fat, not a single calorie is mentioned!
Joel’s Exclusives Workouts by Beachbody Details
So, Joel’s Exclusives Workouts ‘’program’’ is actually not structured, Joel is just kind enough to share some intense workouts with you.
Cardiovascular Training
Best believe you’ll be doing cardio since you won’t be dieting – no but seriously please diet first before you start doing cardio.
The cardio training sessions will still incorporate some form of resistance training which is nice to see. We know that resistance training will build more muscle and result in a better physique.
Resistance Training
While a good amount of the training (actually most of it) is focused on cardio-like training, there is one 8×8 and Lift focused session, respectively. Seems a bit low, however, it is perfect for a beginner.
The biggest Joel’s Exclusives Workouts by Beachbody Pro
Freedom of choice. There is no schedule, no program, and it’s up to you to decide what you want to do, and when. This gives you enormous freedom, and as a bonus, the equipment needed is minimal
The biggest Joel’s Exclusives Workouts by Beachbody Con
There’s no structure. While it is “advised” that you do three of these workouts, which ones? Which ones are more important? The whole plan lacks structure and sustenance. This may sound mean but there is no introduction video, no nutrition information, and no tips on how to structure your workouts in a week.
Joel’s Exclusives Workouts by Beachbody – Final Thoughts
This is okay I guess. Certainly, nothing that’s going to have you fall in love with fitness, and can frankly be found on most free sites. Yes, having the video of Joel there helps, but Youtube is a thing and this program seems dated, empty, and lacks quality information.
