Can You Get Ripped With Just Home Workouts? (TRUTH)

November 10, 2022 By Joshua Whitworth

Can you get ripped with home workouts image

According to a study by the IHRSA, about half of all Americans suffer from gym anxiety – or the fear of going to the gym. This fear typically stems from the social aspect and being judged for not knowing what to do or how to do it.

This shows there are two things that need to happen to improve health in America:

  1. People who visit gyms need to be more inclusive to all body types and encourage them to bring more people in to make them feel more comfortable.
  2. Home workouts need to be more popular for their accessibility and promoted to improve the overall health of the world.

The coolest part is that you can definitely get ripped with just home workouts. Take a look at Olympic gymnasts, who pretty much only use their body weight to work out, as your example.

How many push ups will get you ripped image

Growing up, many of us are told to do push-ups and sit-ups to get buff. But nobody ever tells us how many push-ups we need to do to actually get those results.

Some people will get ripped doing just 20 push-ups, and others will need to do hundreds. When it comes down to it, different people need different numbers.

But ultimately, you need more than just push-ups to get ripped.

How many times a week should i workout to get ripped image

Isn’t it crazy how there are some people on social media that post a workout picture or video literally every day?

I mean, they’re absolutely in amazing shape, so they deserve to show it off. Plus, they put in a lot of work to look that way, so again, they should be allowed to post that content.

I’ve got great news, though!

You don’t have to be in the gym for hours on end every single day in order to get ripped. In fact, you could work out 2-3 days a week for 30 minutes to an hour and get ripped.

Oftentimes when people talk about fitness, they use terms like “ripped,” “jacked,” “aesthetic,” etc. pretty interchangeably. But when it comes to writing out personal goals, it’s best to be as specific as possible.

How to get lean and ripped in 30 days image

It’s so common for those annoying infomercials and YouTube ads to scream at you about how “all you need to do to lose weight is take this supplement and you will lose all your fat in less than a month!”

And, I hate to be the one to say this, but getting ripped in 30 days is a total lie.

How Long Does it Take to Get Ripped with Calisthenics?

June 7, 2022 By Joshua Whitworth

How long does it take to get ripped with calithenics image

I love watching fitness dudes on Youtube as much as the next person, but nothing is crazier than the jacked gymnasts that compete in the Olympics.

There’s also a bunch of jacked calisthenics-only athletes on Youtube with all their “how-to” workout videos and progressions, but none of them say how long it takes to get that way.

There’s no straight answer on how long it takes to get ripped with calisthenics. It really depends on the person’s current body fat percentage, fitness level, and nutrition (possibly the biggest factor in being “ripped”).

What Does it Mean if Someone is Ripped? (Definition)

May 17, 2022 By Joshua Whitworth

What does it mean if someone is ripped image

We’ve all heard someone describe someone else as “ripped” without any explanation, but we all knew exactly what they meant.

Dictionary.com defines “ripped” as “drunk; intoxicated.” I’m totally kidding, that is a definition, but not the one I’m actually referencing here.

The real definition is: “having well-defined muscles; very muscular.”

Don’t worry though, I know that doesn’t give a very detailed look. I’ll examine what it means in terms of numbers, or quantifiable data, to give a more complete understanding.
